Black Music Congress (BMC) is a forum for discussing issues around black music, networking, and a pathway to music industry education. It holds twice yearly debates at City University London, and works with BTWSC in delivering courses and talks-based programmes across London. It speaks on black music sector issues on panels and in the media. June is British Black Music Month is a BMC initiative.

BritishBlackMusic.com (BBM) organises the BMC events. It also works with BTWSC to deliver training and inter-generational community events. Its website covers black music, with a bias towards British artists and products, music industry education, and music industry issues.

BBM sends out an ad-hoc e-newsletter. Certain facilities on its website, such as competitions and online booking, are only available to registered users. Registration is free at: www.britishblackmusic.com.
